Position Title:
Location: San Diego, Ca
Work Schedule: M-F, 8 am - 5 pm
Pay rate: 34.17/Hr
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:
Coordinate, advertise, and implement programs in-person and online
· Maintain fidelity while facilitating evidence-based programs
· Participate, and in some cases, plan and facilitate, community meetings and trainings
· Establish connections with internal and external stakeholders to identify new host sites and enhance outreach efforts
· Track program data and submit timely reports
· Develop outreach and educational materials for programs and events
· Prepare equipment, supplies, and materials needed to implement programs
To be considered for this position, you should have: [Skills, Education, or Experience]
At least one-year experience teaching or facilitating health-related presentations, classes, or programs
o Exceptional interpersonal communication, presentation, and facilitation skills
o Effective writing skills, particularly in communicating health-related information
o Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Preferred:
o Bilingual (English/Spanish)
o At least one-year experience working with older adults
o Proficiency in graphic design tools to create visually appealing flyers and newsletters
o Knowledge of public health, health promotion, community relations, and implementing evidence-based programs
o Knowledge of or interest in learning about different cultures, beliefs, practices, and traditions, as well as the unique needs of older adults
